What makes this band good? They write their own refreshing lyrics and when they happen to cover, it`s done in their own style and phrasing. Andreas and Michael are masters in drawing out the notes and sounds, looking more for effectiveness than speed. Very neat also their handling of those classic riffs, which all Blues youngsters gotta have down. Tiny Grimes, Duke Robillard, T-Bone Walker, Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, one hears all these guys packed up with nice phrasing, using Swing to convey the musical message.
